Encounter  is a ministry that believes that there is more to this world than what can be seen.  In a world of shifting sands, broken dreams and broken homes.  Encounter believes that there is hope and restoration in Jesus.  We believe that people are born to live with purpose and to pursue God with passion.   At Encounter, we believe your walk with God is the most adventurous aspect of life

On a typical Sunday night students will arrive around 6:00PM and play games or hang out. Everyone will start service at 6:30PM in the sanctuary with worship and a message. Most nights  the service will finish service  7:30-45PM.  Students are welcome to stick around after service to play games and hang out.

Encounter Lingo to know:
MYC: Minnesota Youth Convention, happens in Rochester, MN over MEA break.
Teen Camp: There is a junior high camp and senior high camp in Alexandria, MN at LGCC during the summer.
STL: Speed the Light, a missions organization we raise money for that helps dig clean water wells in Africa, fight against human trafficking, provide vehicles to missionaries, and much more!
Big Give Night: This is always after MYC in November. We do a night where we take an offering for STL and celebrate all that was raise while doing an outreach for students to invite their friends to.
