10.21.20

HEY CHURCH FAM!

We care about the health and safety of your families at River of Life Church. For that reason, we are choosing to make a pre-cautionary decision to cancel all Wednesday night activities, tonight, October 20, due to a positive covid test of someone in our building this week. The individuals who have been in contact with the positive result have been notified. Thank you for understanding and working with us! Stay tuned to social media OR our Coronavirus Updates page for more updates!

HEY CHURCH! Check out the latest update below  from our lead pastor regarding this weekend’s services. In accordance with the current Minnesota guidelines, face masks will now he required for everyone inside our building. We have a limited quantity of disposable masks available at the doors, but ask that if you have your own, please bring it.

Children ages 5 and under will not be required to wear a mask. If your child is 6 and older, they must wear a mask during River Kids services.

Those on stage (speakers, presenters, worship leaders, etc) will not be required to wear facial coverings while on the platform.

For those with health issues and are unable to wear a mask, we have a service available for you in the River YTH building. Otherwise, we invite you to join us in our online worship experience! Our heart is for unity and safety of our church, our community, our state, and our world. Please be in prayer for our leadership during this season. We are believing for greater things in things. We love our church!

Be creative! On Sunday, we’re giving out prizes for the most creative masks in service. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Until next time, Church!
03.14.20 We are moving online!

Church,

On Friday,  March 13th Governor Walz announced limitations on all gatherings of more than 250 in MN.  As a result, we have decided that we will be moving services online effective Sunday, March 15th. This is not an act of panic or fear, rather, it’s an act of care - both for the church and for others. For the health care system, for neighbors, and for the vulnerable. This is what it means to be for the common good and to “seek the peace of the city.”

What can we do during this time?

1.) Pray. We encourage families to pray together. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will HEAL THEIR LAND.”

2.) Let’s BE the church in this time! Reach out to your circle of influence and see how you can best serve them!! If you know of someone in need, lend a helping hand, a few dollars, or prayer. Even though we can’t gather as a large group, this is a perfect time to be with your family, neighbors, and friends online to be the Church together!

3.) Stay up to date with us. We will be daily updating you at riveroflifeag.org/coronavirus.

We will be providing ONLINE services for your entire family starting Sunday, March 15th. Check out Facebook or Instagram to view these services! We see this as an opportunity to activate as the body of Christ in a whole new way! Pick a service time and engage with it. You can watch us online at riveroflifeag.org/live, on our Facebook page “River of Life Church,” OR download our app (River of Life - Cold Spring).
