Definition of Miracles:

Definition:
- “An extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.”
- “It is a supernatural event that would be impossible for us to experience with our natural abilities or resources.”

"And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it." -Mark 16:17-18

A miracle is a sign that God uses to point to Himself!

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to "my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." -John 15:7-8

1.) How do I receive a miracle?

a.) Appeal to His mercy.
*Mercy - compassion that is shown toward an offender

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." -— Ephesians 2:8-10 (NIV)

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin."
-Psalm 51:1-2

b.) Become desperate.
Throughout scripture we see people who were desperate from a touch of God. They pressed in to Him because they recognized that Jesus was the only one who could bring healing and direction. In your season of desperation, we challenge you to demand His anointing on your life. Press through the crowd and your faith will heal you.
