"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9
Galatians 6:9
1. Come to Jesus
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Mathew 11:28–30 NIV
Jesus was fully God and fully man - He experienced life like you and I did for 30 years.
"For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted." Hebrews 2:17–18 NIV
He had seasons where he grew weary...
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners." Luke 4:18–19 NIV
"All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff. 30But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way." Luke 4:28–30 NIV
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Matthew 26:39 NIV
2. Come Together
There is strength in numbers...
"If it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." Romans 12:8 NIV
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11NIV
Encourage one another!
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another”and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:25 NIV
Strengthen one another!
"Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers." Acts 15:32 NIV
Pray for one another!
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should." Ephesians 6:18–20 NIV
3. Come to the Supernatural
Holy spirit power – Pray God’s prayer for your situation.
"And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will." Romans 8:27 NIV
Pray for things that you don’t see or understand.
"For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit." 1 Corinthians 14:2 NIV
Pray for edifying you.
"But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit." Jude 20 MSG
"He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you." 1 Corinthians 1: 8–11 NIV
"This is what the LORD says:
Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who depends on flesh for his strength
and whose heart turns away from the LORD."

whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream."
